Liberals Eat Their Own And Roast Schumer Over Comments About Republican Congressman
Senator Chuck Schumer got more than he bargained for by people in his own party when he praised outgoing Republican Congressman, Peter King.
Those on the looney left demand strict allegiance and anything other than that is heresy to the level of the Salem witch trials. On Monday Schumer expressed his appreciation for the Republican congressman and said, “Peter King stood head & shoulders above everyone else He’s been principled & never let others push him away from his principles He’s fiercely loved America, Long Island, and his Irish heritage and left a lasting mark on all 3 I will miss him in Congress & value his friendship.”

Then, like a light switch progressive nut jobs unloaded on Schumer for simply being decent. Peter Daou said, “SERIOUSLY SCHUMER?? If you EVER wonder why I criticize Democratic ‘leaders’ for enabling Republicans, look no further than this tweet. #PeteKing has praised Trump’s immigration policy, and here is @SenSchumer fawning over his ‘principles.’ We need a new Democratic Party.”

“Peter King is a racist. Good riddance. Schumer praising him like this is an extremely alarming sign. Democrats need new leadership in the Senate,” Adam Best tweeted.

“No. For the record, Senator Schumer, Peter King sided w/ anti-immigrant policies and even once said that immigrants should be thankful for #ICE, which is known for racism, terrorizing communities & separating families,” Cristina Jimenez tweeted.
