Maybe Biden Can Do a Fly-By of Southern Border On His Way to Vacation – Watch

“He’s leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when he’ll be back again.” That must be one of President Biden’s theme songs because once again, the Commander-In-Chief is jet-setting to another vacation hot spot in the Caribbean. 

The irony that this trip is happening while the Supreme Court decided to keep Title 42 in place is massive. A total of 19 GOP attorneys general filed the suit against Biden’s administration and the High Court ruled in favor to make sure Title 42 temporarily is kept in place.

This Trump-era measure allows for illegal immigrants to be expelled more quickly and was established based on the COVID health emergency. 

President Biden has not invested in the border problem and agreed to comply with the Supreme Court. But he did say that lifting Title 42 was “overdue.”

“The court is not going to decide until June apparently, and in the meantime, we have to enforce it— but I think it’s overdue,” Biden said.

So let’s translate that, he doesn’t care if illegal immigration gets exponentially worse at the southern border. And to add insult to injury, the president’s team could not get their messaging straight about the issue through White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Last week, a lower court ruled that they had to lift Title 42 which is exactly what Biden has wanted to do all along. But KJP tried to pretend that the lower court was “forcing” them to do it. 

KJP: We have no choice, a court order says we have to lift Title 42 in the middle of a border crisis!

REPORTER: “But the administration sought to lift it.”

KJP: “But it’s a court order.”

REPORTER: “Started by you guys.”

What in the world?

And by the way, Biden says he will comply with the Supreme Court’s decision, but he is largely ignoring Title 42 and only expelling about 1/3 of the people that he could under the provision. 

So here is the long and short of it, Biden’s busy so he can’t go to the border, complying isn’t what his administration’s doing, KJP can’t seem to get the right message out, and the surf’s up in the Caribbean.
