‘Mini’ Mike Bloomberg Is Trying To Buy Florida For Biden
Humiliated Democrat presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is trying to buy the State of Florida for former Vice President Joe Biden.
The Washington Post reported that Bloomberg is trying to flip the state in Biden’s direction. They are hoping to encourage early voting to “give lie to what we expect to be Trump’s election night messaging that Democrats are stealing the election, because unlike other battleground states, Florida counts its absentee ballots on or by Election Day.”
If Biden won Florida during the 2020 presidential election it could deal a sizable blow to the President’s hopes at being re-elected.
Polls and reports are claiming that Florida is a toss-up however, data shows the President has strong support.
Bloomberg’s decision to dump $100 million to help Biden win Florida comes after a Bloomberg funded analytic firm claimed Trump would win on election night but lose after the mail-in votes are tallied.
Bloomberg is also pledging $60 million to help House Speaker Pelosi keep the House majority.
“Mike Bloomberg played a role that was pivotal to our success two years ago. We are so glad that he is staying in the fight to protect and expand the Democratic majority in the House,” Pelosi said.
The failed presidential hopeful has spent a lot of money this year. Bloomberg spent at least $600 million trying to be the Democrat presidential candidate; he lasted 101 days.
Kevin Sheekey told the Washington Post that Bloomberg covering Florida for Biden should help him spend money in other battleground states.
“Voting starts on Sept. 24 in Florida so the need to inject real capital in that state quickly is an urgent need,” Sheekey said.
“Mike believes that by investing in Florida it will allow campaign resources and other Democratic resources to be used in other states, in particular the state of Pennsylvania,” he added.
Bloomberg has successfully helped Democrats in the past. Bloomberg’s cash infusion in Virginia helped Democrats secure Virginia and that led to draconian gun laws.
