MSNBC Host Fumes. Was Absolutely Humiliated – Watch
When it comes to the liberal media’s coverage of the COVID pandemic and vaccine, Russell Brand didn‘t hold back in his recent appearance on HBO‘s Real Time with Bill Maher. Brand, who is known for his string of comedies and high–profile relationship with Katy Perry, eviscerated MSNBC contributor John Heilemann for the network‘s propaganda–like coverage. Heilemann was not amused by the screed, though the audience was more receptive to the tongue–lashing.
Brand‘s criticism of the liberal media was scathing. He mocked them for attacking Joe Rogan for using ivermectin to treat COVID, referring to it as “horse medicine“ when studies have shown it to be an effective therapeutic. He also called out CBS News for their shoddy pay–to–play story involving Publix, the Florida–based supermarket chain, and the Jenkins family, who owns the company. Despite the story‘s lack of credibility, CBS refused to retract the story or issue an apology.
This is yet another example of the liberal media‘s hypocrisy and bias, and it‘s no surprise that conservative voices are speaking out against it. Republicans have long been critical of the mainstream media‘s liberal slant, and this latest incident proves that their criticism is well–founded. The liberal media has been irresponsible in how they‘ve handled news stories, particularly when it comes to the pandemic and vaccine.
The liberal media needs to take a step back and reexamine its methods and biases. The conservative perspective has been largely ignored and misrepresented. The liberal media should at least recognize this and give a platform to conservative voices. It’s the only way to ensure that news stories are presented accurately and fairly.
Russell Brand’s single experience on MSNBC really was “more than enough”. An excruciating exhibition of mindless triviality. pic.twitter.com/2RL5r3biEz
