The surprise announcement came during a concert on Sunday in Puerto Rico, where Daddy Yankee shared with fans that he had accepted Jesus into his life. “Tonight I recognize and am not ashamed to tell the whole world that Christ lives in me and that I will live for him. The rapper, who has sold over 30 million records worldwide, also made the announcement on social media, where he has a massive following. His Instagram post included a picture of him holding a Bible and a caption that read, “Goodbye to my old life, farewell to the God of death.”
