New Data From The USDA Is A Big Win For Trump And Spells Big Trouble For Democrats
New data from the USDA shows that 6.2 million people have stopped participating in the SNAP program. The SNAP program is in charge of food stamps and the participation has dropped since February 2017 after Trump’s first full month in office.
Under Obama, the SNAP program reached its highest level in 2013. SNAP enrollment started to drop slowly after 2013 when some state legislatures passed laws mandating that food stamp recipients work, attend school, volunteer, or participate job training at least 20 hours a week.
Since President Trump took office 6.2 million people and 2.7 million households have dropped out of the program.
The President told Breitbart News in an interview that he doesn’t want illegal immigrants using US welfare benefits. Last month the Trump administration released a “public charge rule” that will make it very hard or deny immigrants their green cards if they have any history receiving welfare benefits.
What’s great about this news is that since President Trump took office people are getting off welfare benefits and going back to work. Despite the Democrats trying to scare this country into a recession using fake news this President has stayed true and gotten this country rolling. A record 158 million Americans working. The women’s labor force participation rate is at an all-time high, African-American unemployment rate is at an all-time low. Over 6.3 million jobs created since Trump was elected; over half of them have gone to women.
In late August the Democrats were itching for a recession so they could blame it on Trump. Democrat nut job Bill Mahhr said it would be worth it for the country to go through a recession to get rid of Trump.
Much to the disappointment on the left American is back to work and getting off welfare. That isn’t just great news for the President, it’s great for America.
