New Poll: GOP Meaner Than a Junk Yard Dog

There are some things you just don’t do…
You don’t tug on Superman’s cape, you don’t spit in the wind, you don’t pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger…and you don’t kick the GOP sleeping giant.
That is likely what happened when the private home of former President Donald Trump was raided by the FBI. If the party wasn’t already fired up to take out the Biden Administration, they probably are now.
A new Trafalgar Group/Convention of States Action poll taken after the raid shows that it certainly increased the motivation to vote among Republicans and Independents. Most of them believe that the raid was used as a political weapon.
83.3 percent of Republicans said it increased their motivation to vote in November.
71.7 percent of independents said it increased their motivation.
76.7 percent of Republicans think that it was Trump’s “political enemies” behind the raid.
53.9 percent of independent voters believe the same thing.
This isn’t just about what the administration is doing to Trump. People saw the FBI seizing a member of Congress’s cellphone right in front of his family. This was done to Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) the head of the House Freedom Caucus.
House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) declared a warning to Merrick Garland to “Preserve your documents.”
Just now, the FBI has allegedly given subpoenas to GOP lawmakers in PA. Some see the FBI as out of control and believe the Democrats in power have completely politicized the FBI.
It looks like Democrats will do anything to hold onto the control that they have and try to take out their opponents.
Mark Meckler, the president of the Convention of States Action, said in a statement to the press about this latest poll, “This gestapo-style injustice has created a voting surge that is so significant, the polling doesn’t even begin to reflect what is coming from grassroots voters in November.”
