New World Order? WHO Says The Pandemic Getting Worse Wants ‘Active Surveillance’ Of Populations & Stricter Restrictions
The World Health Organization (WHO) is warning the world that the global coronavirus pandemic is getting worse not receding, telling countries to increase surveillance on its populations and they do not want lockdowns lifted.
The warning was issued as Moscow begins lifting coronavirus restriction lockdowns, Russia has the third-highest cases in the world behind the United States and Brazil.
Asia, Europe, and the United States are beginning to reopen however the WHO has reported a record number of new cases globally and wants countries to continue their lockdowns.
Disgraced director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said 136,000 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, “the most in a single day so far,” with the majority of them in the Americas and South Asia.
With almost 7M #COVID19 cases & 400K deaths globally, this is not the time for any country to take its foot off the pedal. We urge active:
-surveillance to ensure the virus does not rebound
-finding, isolating, testing & caring for every case
-tracing & quarantining every contact https://t.co/B7po1dAN3F— Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (@DrTedros) June 8, 2020
Tedros wants more surveillance and continued lockdowns claiming, “the biggest threat is now complacency”, adding “most people globally are still susceptible to infection.”
“More than six months into this pandemic, this is not the time for any country to take its foot off the pedal,” he said.
What Tedros isn’t telling you is that the reason why cases are going up is that most nations have ramped up testing more and more every week. There are more cases because there is more testing, what health officials in America are discovering is that more cases don’t always mean increased hospitalization.
Keep in mind this is the same organization that said earlier this week asymptomatic patients are not spreading the virus. Then the next day “clarified” that up to 40% of asymptomatic patients could potentially transmit the virus.
Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, WHO official tried to walk back her claim, CNBC reports:
Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of the WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said Tuesday that asymptomatic spread is a “really complex question” and much is still unknown. “We don’t actually have that answer yet,” she said.
“I was responding to a question at the press conference. I wasn’t stating a policy of WHO or anything like that. I was just trying to articulate what we know,” she said on a live Q&A streamed across multiple social media platforms. “And in that, I used the phrase ‘very rare,’ and I think that that’s misunderstanding to state that asymptomatic transmission globally is very rare. I was referring to a small subset of studies.”
Studies show that about 16% of the population may be asymptomatic, she said. Some models developed by other scientists suggest as much as 40% of global transmission may be due to asymptomatic individuals, she said, clarifying her comments.
“Some estimates of around 40% of transmission may be due to asymptomatic, but those are from models, so I didn’t include that in my answer yesterday, but wanted to make sure that I covered that here,” Kerkhove said.
I’m sorry but these people at the WHO are idiots and I’m so glad that President Trump is defunding these clowns.
The WHO has no interest in global health, they are all about control.
