New York Judge Causes Stir with Revealing Photo on HS Blog Amid Trump Trial!
New York County Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron, currently presiding over a civil fraud case against former President Donald Trump, has come under fire for his unusual behavior. The 74-year-old judge, known for his short temper and confrontational personality, has been revealed to have a penchant for posting nude torso pictures in an online high school alumni newsletter that he edits and publishes.
According to reports, the first time Engoron posted such pictures was in the October 2, 2020 issue of the Wheatley School Alumni Association newsletter. The photo, labeled “BonusTorsoPhoto,” was posted under the headline: “BonusTorsoPhoto.” The most recent issue, dated October 27, 2023, also shows Engoron’s clothed photos alongside his family members.
However, the most controversial issue was the October 7, 2021 edition. It featured two nude torso pictures of Engoron flexing in a locker room, under the headline “Before and After.” The photos were compared side-by-side, with the first one labeled “October 2020” and the second one labeled “August 2021.” These pictures were taken in a locker room and posted publicly in an online newsletter, raising concerns about Engoron’s judgment and professionalism.

The revelations come at a time when Engoron is presiding over a high-profile case against Trump. The New York Attorney General, Letitia James, has accused Trump of overvaluing his properties to gain favorable bank loans. During Trump’s testimony on the witness stand last Monday, Engoron became visibly irritated with his long and political answers. He repeatedly asked Trump’s lawyer, Chris Kise, to “control” his client, stating that “We are not here to hear what he has to say…We are here to have him answer questions.” In another instance, Engoron yelled at Trump’s lawyers to “sit down” and called the judge “unhinged.”
Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, later called Engoron “unhinged” during a press conference, stating that the judge was “slamming a table” and not tolerating defense arguments. This behavior has raised concerns about the judge’s ability to preside over a fair and impartial trial.
The revelations about Engoron’s behavior have made headlines, with media outlets dubbing him as “Judge Nudie,” a play on the name “Judge Judy.” Fox News host Jesse Watters also called him “Judge Nudie” in a segment on his show “Jesse Watters Primetime,” criticizing the judge’s ability to make decisions in the high-stakes case against Trump.

In response to the backlash, Engoron refused to comment, simply stating, “Sorry I can’t comment. Bye.” However, the controversy surrounding the judge’s behavior is unlikely to subside anytime soon, as it raises questions about the ethical standards and professionalism expected from a judge presiding over such a crucial case.
