NFL Star Slapped With Disturbing Claims
A Los Angeles woman has filed for a restraining order against Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, alleging he made an antisemitic remark and later bit her during a New Year’s Eve outing.
In court documents filed Tuesday, Madison Atiabi claims the incident took place on Dec. 31, 2025, during a night out in Century City and continued as the group traveled between locations. She also alleges that weeks later, Nacua and his representatives threatened to spread false information about her to the media.
Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, told TMZ that the player did not make the alleged antisemitic comment. He did acknowledge that Nacua bit Atiabi, but described the incident as part of “horseplay” among members of the group.
A judge has declined to issue a temporary restraining order, writing that more information is needed before any action is taken. A hearing is scheduled for April 14.
According to the filing, Atiabi first encountered Nacua at a New Year’s Eve dinner hosted by the receiver and other Rams players. She said she was not aware he would be present.
During the dinner, Atiabi alleges that Nacua was overly physical with women at the table and, at one point, said “f—k all the Jews.” Atiabi, who is Jewish, said the comment caused immediate distress.
Afterward, the group left in a sprinter van. Atiabi claims Nacua sat between her and her girlfriend without being invited and began acting erratically, becoming physically intrusive with both of them.
She alleges that Nacua first bit her girlfriend’s thumb, then bit her on the shoulder with enough force to leave a clear imprint of his teeth and break the skin. Photos were taken of the injury shortly after, according to the filing.
Atiabi also claims Nacua later lost consciousness in the van for several hours. She reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department on Jan. 2.
The filing further describes a March 11 mediation involving both parties. Atiabi alleges that during the meeting, McCathern threatened to contact media outlets, including TMZ, with what she described as false and damaging claims about her behavior.
She is seeking a court order requiring Nacua to stay at least 50 yards away from her, her home, workplace, and vehicle, and to refrain from making public statements about her.
The alleged incident comes less than two weeks after Nacua publicly apologized for performing a dance on a livestream that he said had antisemitic implications.
Nacua, 24, started 15 games for the Rams this season, finishing with 1,715 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 129 receptions.
