Now Jill Biden Turns Her Back On Americans
The Biden administration’s response to the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio is both appalling and concerning. President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have yet to make an appearance in the town, instead choosing to take a diplomatic trip to Ukraine and Africa even as the people of East Palestine struggle with the aftermath of the disaster.
The decision to deny FEMA funds to the town has only added to their struggles, and many are now too afraid to return home because of the lingering presence of hazardous chemicals in the water. The Biden administration’s silence on the issue has been deafening, and it’s clear that they aren’t making it a priority.
This is especially concerning when compared to the attention they’re giving to Ukraine and other international issues. Biden has made multiple trips to Ukraine and has appointed an envoy to the region. Jill Biden is currently on a diplomatic trip to Namibia and Kenya after President Biden announced last year at a summit that the U.S. is “all in” on the future of Africa.

These trips are a stark contrast to the lack of attention and support East Palestine has received. Despite the video evidence of the environmental and economic damage caused by the train derailment, the Biden administration has done nothing in response.
This is yet another example of the Biden administration’s disregard for American citizens in red states. It’s also evidence of his willingness to prioritize international relations over domestic issues, even when those domestic issues have a direct impact on American citizens.
Although the President and First Lady are building relations with other coutries, which is good, they have neglected their own making their priorities clear. The concern with Ukraine and environmentalism have taken the front seat while the Americans suffering in Ohio are clearly in the back.
