NY AG Responds To Possible Charges
Letitia James, the very same New York Attorney General who seemed to build her entire political identity on “getting Trump,” is now squirming under the same magnifying glass she used to scorch her favorite political enemy. And the irony is so thick, you’d need a chainsaw to cut through it.
Let’s rewind for a second. This is the woman who promised voters she would pursue Donald Trump with everything she had. And boy, did she. She dredged up what can only be described as a legally flimsy real estate fraud case—built not on damaged victims or actual loss, but on a narrative.

A narrative where real estate valuations (something everyone disputes in negotiations) suddenly became “fraud” because… Trump. She snagged a $400 million judgment thanks to Judge Arthur Engoron, whose objectivity throughout the trial would make a Soviet commissar proud.
And what was the crime, exactly? Overvaluing assets. Except the banks didn’t care. In fact, they made money, didn’t file complaints, and—here’s the kicker—still said they’d be happy to work with Trump again. So who, exactly, was defrauded? It was less of a trial and more of a theatrical performance—a “get Trump” pageant wrapped in the language of law.
But now? The hunter just might be the hunted. Letitia James is being accused of real estate fraud. Yes, you read that right. Not just accused, but credibly accused. And not by some tabloid rag either—there’s talk of actual federal charges. Suddenly, the moral crusader of Midtown is looking a bit more like the villain in her own drama.

She’s absolutely SPIRALING 🤣

Of course, her office is already doing the spin dance. Her spokesperson came out with a statement about how she’s bravely standing up to “bullies” and “protecting New Yorkers.” Hilarious. This is the same AG who weaponized her office to chase one man like a bloodhound on a scent, and now she’s crying foul about political persecution?
It’s the kind of plot twist that would get rejected in a screenplay for being too on the nose.
And let’s be real here: Letitia James didn’t just use her office to take on Trump. She used it to signal-boost her own political ambitions. Now she’s learning that the double-edged sword of political lawfare cuts both ways.
“No matter how big, rich or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law.” Those words of Letitia James may echo loudly this week as James finds herself the subject of a criminal referral for alleged financial fraud … https://t.co/eID0owfB86

If the feds move in—and it looks like they might—we’ll finally get to see if Letitia James believes in the rule of law… when she’s the one under the microscope. Because when you spend your whole career turning justice into a weapon, don’t be surprised when it boomerangs back in your face.
