NYC Busted: Admit Issuing Instructions To Cover Up COVID-19 Cases From BLM Protests
New York City has admitted they won’t investigate the number of coronavirus cases resulting from Black Lives Matter protests and riots that occurred in the last two weeks.
We will probably never know what percentage of Wuhan virus cases that resulted from the streets of New York being overrun by looters and crowed by protestors because the small army of contact tracers have been instructed not to find out.
Yes, the people that have the ability to keep you in your home and if you don’t comply can have you arrested are being instructed not to ask people if they participated in a protest.
“No person will be asked proactively if they attended a protest,” Avery Cohen, a spokesperson for de Blasio, wrote in an emailed response to questions by THE CITY.
Instead, the contact tracers will ask general questions to help them “recall” where they may have been exposed like, “Do you live with anyone in your home?”
Mayor DeBlasio nor Governor Cuomo seem to want to know how many cases are a result of the protests. When asked Cuomo seemed to dodge and said, “That’s the one variable in this equation that we’re not sure of: We don’t know what the effect of those protests are.”
Health officials in New York are flat out admitting they have no interest in finding out if protests are spreading the virus.
“We ask them questions about where they’ve been so that we can gauge who may be at risk,” said Mary Ellen Laurain, a spokesperson for the Nassau County Health Department. “It may come out as part of the interview, but we ask more open-ended questions.”
Dr. S. Patrick Kachur, a professor at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health said that it would be challenging to trace people that attended protests.
“There’s definitely a concern that state and city officials have that the protests could be a place where transmission occurs, but that risk is lower than household and other community contacts,” Kachur said. “And it would be really challenging to trace those contacts who you’ve been protesting with.”
These are ridiculous excuses from health officials who would have no problem issuing a press conference over cases that occurred from people going to church. Not one official said that if a person admits they attended a protest it is being recorded.
What officials in New York are doing is criminal, not only are they trying to cover up a double standard but they are refusing to look into evidence that could help us understand the coronavirus.
Riddle me this one Gov. Cuomo…What if there isn’t an uptick in cases? What if only certain demographics at the protest catch the virus? What if there isn’t an uptick? What if we learn a huge amount of the city had the virus and have antibodies? We could learn so much.
There is a whole bunch of data that could be learned but for the sake of politics, we’ll never know.
Dem run NYC is instructing contact tracers to not ask people if they joined protests/riots bc they don’t want any stats/evidence proving protests led to a corona spike.
Much easier for them to blame biz owners & church goers.
