NYT’s Russian Bounty Report Has Been Unmasked And All Roads Lead Back To Rep. Adam Schiff Who’s Known All Along
Rep. Adam Schiff of the House Intelligence Committee is demanding that the Trump administration brief Congress about the allegations that Russian has been paying Taliban soldiers to kill US soldiers. However, when he was personally briefed on the matter in February he did nothing.
The curtains have been pulled back on the New York Times storying claiming Russia is paying Taliban fighters a bounty every time they kill an American and all road lead to Rep. Adam Schiff.
Rep. Schiff learned about the allegations after his staff was briefed during a trip to Afghanistan in February. The crooked congressman from California who has admitted that President Trump was not briefed on the so-called intelligence, has not disclosed what he and his staff were briefed on by officials in Afghanistan in February.
It would certainly appear that this is Rep. Adam Schiff using intelligence for partisan gain. When he was asked on Tuesday if he had knowledge of the Russian story prior to the New York Times report, Schiff said, “I can’t comment on specifics.”
Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist reports:
Schiff’s recent complaints that Trump took no action against Russia in response to rumors of Russian bounties are curious given that Schiff himself took no action after his top staff were briefed by intelligence officials. As chairman of the intelligence committee, Schiff had the authority to immediately brief the full committee and convene hearings on the matter. Schiff, however, did nothing. He did not brief his committee on the matter, nor did he brief the gang of 8, which consists of top congressional leadership in both chambers.
Schiff is demanding that the Trump administration brief all of Congress about the unverified allegations, yet he himself did not ask for a briefing of the Intelligence Committee following the February briefing of his own staff.
Patrick Boland, spokesman for Rep. Schiff on the intelligence committee has not responded to a request for comment on why Schiff did not alert his committee back in February.
The cats out of the bag now, Rep. Adam Schiff has been playing games with intelligence again.
