NYT’s Sets The Stage For Biden To Duck Debating Trump, Set Up ‘Conditions’
On Wednesday, the New York Times began making excuses to keep former Vice President Joe Biden from publically debating President Donald Trump. Raheem Kassam, from the National Pulse, posted the column written by Tomas L. Friedman.
In the column, Friedman puts conditions on President Trump that must be met before Biden debates the President.

According to Friedman two conditions must be met before Biden agrees to debate President Trump. First, Trump releases tax returns – which he is not required to do – and second, the media be allowed to “real-time fact-checking.” Meaning the media would be allowed to enter the debate themselves.
The two conditions are:
1. Trumps releases tax returns (not required to be President, obviously).
2. Left-wing networks to “real time fact checking” I.e. enter the debate themselves on Biden’s team.

Donald Trump Jr. also responded to the New York Times wondering what the final excuse will be.
What’s the excuse going to be in the end? I’ve heard this notion from friends who run in some fairly liberal political circles in NY. Those donors don’t want Biden on the debate stage with @realDonaldTrump and for obvious reasons. https://t.co/cVLkBhXw1s

The Biden campaign has committed to three scheduled debates against President Trump.
“Our position is straightforward and clear: Biden will accept the Commission’s debates, on the Commission’s dates, under the Commission’s established format and the Commission’s independent choice of moderators,” said Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon in a letter to the debate commission.
During an interview with NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio Biden said that he looks forward to debating the President.
Reporter Colleen Marshall asked Biden, “If you would look at social media and certainly the Twitter feed of Donald Trump, they say Joe Biden is old, Joe Biden seems confused. What do you want to say to Ohio voters about your mental acuity?”
“Watch. I can hardly wait to debate this guy that’s in such great shape and such a stable genius. I can hardly wait,” Biden responded.
