Obama Claims Gun Violence Is The New ‘Epidemic,’ Calls For Action From ‘Those In Power’
Former president Barack Obama is calling for action from “those in power” and claimed gun violence is the new “epidemic.”
It is long past time for those with the power to fight this epidemic of gun violence to do so,” Obama said. “We can overcome opposition by cowardly politicians and the pressure of a gun lobby that opposes any limit on the ability of anyone to assemble an arsenal, we can, and we must.”
Colorado Congressman and Democrat Joe Neguse told reporters Tuesday, “We need to see a change because we have lost far too many lives.”
What Obama and Neguse aren’t explaining is that Colorado has many of the gun laws proposed in Joe Biden’s gun ban and they did nothing to stop the shooting in Boulder, Colorado.
Republican Congresswoman Laura Boebert from Colorado explains that the state has red flag laws, universal background checks, large capacity magazine bans, and an extended background check period.”
Colorado already has:
-universal background checks
-a red flag gun control law
-large capacity magazine bans
-domestic violence gun laws
-an extended background check period
-state database background checks
-gun-free zones
Killers like Ahmad Al-Issa don’t follow the law.

During an appearance on CBS News Vice President Kamala claimed that Democrats are not trying to go after anyone guns. However, if the Biden administration is planning on nationalizing the laws similar to the ones in Boulder, Colorado then they would be proposing a policy that has failed. The laws in Colorado failed to stop the horrific shooting in Boulder and they include the same policies in Biden’s assault weapons ban.

“Stop pushing the false choice that this means everybody’s trying to come after your guns, that is not what we’re talking about.” pic.twitter.com/dQjH3w9WiY
