Officials Give Update After Arson Attack At Pennsylvania’s Governor’s Mansion
You’d think an attempted firebombing of the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion—while the governor and his family were sleeping inside—would be enough to snap this country out of its stupor. But instead, what we got was another round of candlelit statements, limp disclaimers, and a justice system that can’t quite decide whether a man lobbing Molotov cocktails at elected officials deserves to be treated as a threat or a patient.
MAGA. Calls the left violent and dangerous. Because some people torched some Teslas. When MAGA fire bombs a governor’s house with his family sleeping inside.
There is a difference between the two. This also the reason why the republicans are such ass kissers. Trump’s minions.— thurston911.bsky.social (@thurston911.bsky.social) April 14, 2025 at 8:44 AM
Cody Balmer, a 38-year-old unemployed welder with a criminal past, allegedly scaled a security fence under cover of darkness and tried to burn the governor’s residence to the ground. His stated intent? To attack Governor Josh Shapiro with a sledgehammer if given the chance. Not exactly subtle.
A MAGA moron. Will probably get acquitted or pardoned saying he was there to protest and it was self defense. Protecting the policies of the tangerine turd.

Now, before anyone tries to make this about mental illness—as if that’s some magical get-out-of-jail-free card—Balmer told the court he doesn’t suffer from any such condition. “That’s the rumor, but no, ma’am,” he said. Maybe someone should take him at his word. But even if he were mentally ill, why was a man with assault charges, a history of violence against relatives, and a pattern of court no-shows still roaming the streets?
Cody Balmer was named as the man who firebombed the PA governors house while he and his family slept inside.
Democrats have been CHEERING for political violence on Colbert, Kimmell, and The Daily Show

This wasn’t some spontaneous tantrum. Balmer walked an hour to the governor’s mansion. He brought gasoline-filled beer bottles—classic DIY terror tactics. He waited for the right moment, slipped past law enforcement, broke into the mansion, and set fire to it while Governor Shapiro, his wife, four kids, and their dogs were asleep inside. If not for state troopers acting fast, this story could’ve ended in tragedy.
Yet we’re left with vague lines about “not knowing the motive” and suggestions that it’s just another sad story. Really? The man literally told police he hated Governor Shapiro. He prepared for this. And don’t miss the detail: Balmer had already been accused of stepping on a child’s broken leg. But yeah, let’s keep wringing our hands over whether he had insurance or a therapist.
Meanwhile, the residence—a historic space used for community events and celebrations—was torn open like a warzone. Shattered windows. Blackened walls. A piano charred beyond recognition. But somehow the conversation already shifted toward “he had problems” instead of “he’s a domestic threat.”
The Democrats celebrating violence never thought their radicals would target them. And now a deranged leftist has done this https://t.co/Obfp5S1EpB

And for those wondering, Balmer wasn’t a political partisan. According to President Trump, the guy didn’t seem to like anyone. Which is even more disturbing. Ideological violence is one thing; nihilistic violence is worse. It’s untethered. It’s unpredictable. And it’s becoming far too common.
Governor Shapiro—himself a potential 2028 Democratic frontrunner—made the rounds with polished remarks about rising violence and unity. But the hard truth is this: the institutions charged with protecting citizens, governors, and even children from predators like Balmer have been asleep at the wheel. This wasn’t a surprise attack. It was preventable chaos.
maga domestic terrorism is the very reason donald’s crime syndicate is curbing efforts to uncover and counter domestic terrorism
And let’s not forget the glaring structural flaw: the Governor’s Mansion didn’t even have sprinklers. We’re sending billions overseas, but the elected leader of Pennsylvania can’t host a Passover dinner without worrying that the house might go up in flames due to 1968-era fire protocols?
