Liberals Shudder After Grand Jury Announcement In Blue Stronghold
A Virginia school district has been in the news for over a year.
First, the Loudoun, Virginia public schools system was in the middle of the COVID school opening debate and then found themselves embroiled in multiple scandals. The woke school district became the rallying cry for change during the Virginia race for governor paving the way for Glenn Youngkin to beat Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
Scott Smith, 48, has a daughter who attended Stone Bridge High school on May 28 and was raped by a boy “in a skirt.”
In the summer of 2021 we reported:
The school didn’t call the police to report a rape they called the police to deal with Smith. However, once police arrived they administered a rape kit and opened an investigation.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 14 year old juvenile was “charged with forcible sodomy.”
Smith was arrested on June 22nd after the School Board held meeting to discuss the bathroom policy and lost his temper when they denied any sexual assaults had occurred.
The family was preparing for an October 14 court date however it has been delayed because the juvenile accused of raping Smith’s daughter was arrested at another school for a similar charge. According to a police report the juvenile held a girl in a classroom to attack her and was charged with “sexual battery and abduction.”
The boy “in a skirt” was convicted.
A few months later, a school counselor was arrested and is facing charges for having an “inappropriate relationship” with a student.
“A young girl was sexually assaulted in her school, and the administrators, those who were trusted with not only her education but her safety, tried to cover it up,” Youngkin said in a speech. “And they quietly moved the offender, an offender being prosecuted for sexual assault, to another school, where he was able to do it again. Two young girls have been sexually assaulted because our system, our system failed to protect them.”
Officials want answers and now prosecutors have announced that a grand jury has been convened to get to the bottom of just what in the heck is going on inside the Loudoun County public school system.
In a statement to a local news affiliate, the school district said, “Loudoun County Public Schools is aware that a special grand jury has been convened regarding Governor Youngkin’s Executive Order Number Four issued on January 15, 2022, which authorized the Attorney General to investigate incidents at Stone Bridge High School and Broad Run High School that took place in 2021.”
