One Of Biden’s Top Agenda’s Is Already In Trouble Because Many Americans Are Saying, ‘No’
One of Biden’s top agenda’s is already in trouble because Americans are saying, “no.”
In December, Dr. Fauci threatened Americans that the country would need to reach 90% vaccination before we could go back to normal, he then contradicted himself saying no one knows the actual number.
As it turns out Americans don’t want the vaccine.
Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former Food and Drug Administration commissioner told CNBC that the coronavirus vaccine rollout could be slowed substantially because not enough Americans want it.
“I think we need to also …. work on the demand side of this equation. We can’t lose sight of that and just take for granted that everyone wants this vaccine,” Gottlieb said.
Gottlieb is on the board of the vaccine manufacturer Pfizer and admits that only about 100-120 million people actually want the vaccine.
“There’s going to be a lot of intense demand even in younger cohorts, but I think once we get to 100 million, maybe 120 million vaccines, the demand is going to get soft,” Gottlieb said, basing his forecast on the number of U.S. adults who received a flu shot this past year.
“Those were people who were worried about getting Covid going out and getting flu vaccines. That may be the universe of people who really have significant demand for a Covid vaccine,” he added.
The vaccine doesn’t seem to be having the effect people hoped for either. Israel has vaccinated about 20% of their population and there seems to be some complications.
The Israeli newspaper, Haaretz is reporting that thousands of Israelis have tested positive for the coronavirus after receiving he first shot.
A little over six percent out of the 189,000 people vaccinated have tested positive for the coronavirus after receiving their first dose.
From Haaretz:
According to the ministry’s data, 5,348 people were found infected up to a week after getting the vaccine, of the 100,000 people who were vaccinated and then tested a week later – an infection rate of 5.4 percent of those vaccinated during that time.
Another 5,585 people tested positive for the virus between the eighth and 14th day after getting the first vaccine – 8.3 percent of the 67,000 people who were vaccinated and tested during that post-vaccination period.
People were also testing positive more than two weeks after getting the first dose, between the 15th and 21st day, a period during which partial immunity is already meant to be in effect.
The newspaper also reported that 69 out of 250,000 people have been infected with the virus after the second shot.
Biden’s top agenda is vaccinations but it appears that Americans have already spoken, most seem to rather roll the dice with the virus.
