Our Country’s in Chaos and Our President is in St. Croix
Let’s see, we’ve still got record inflation, a continuing crisis at the border, and severe weather taking lives across the country. So what is the president of the United States planning to do?
He’s off on yet another vacation!
President Biden has already taken more vacation than any of his recent predecessors at this point in his time in office. Biden had spent about 40 percent of his term on vacation when it was checked in November, and that was before his Thanksgiving time off.
When he has been asked about the crisis at the border, he says that there are more “important” things he has to deal with. The last time he was asked about the crisis, he just ignored the question completely.
So as things continue to escalate in El Paso, Biden is heading to St. Croix until after New Year’s Day.
While the rest of us are counting out pennies trying to provide a good Christmas for our families, he will be relaxing in the Caribbean. In fact, he will have his toes in the sand while the Supreme Court makes its decision on Title 42 and thousands of feet cross our border.
While the Biden team lapped up the sun, the country is in the middle of winter weather that resulted in the cancellation of flights and looting in cities. Enjoy the island life, Mr. President.
He can spend his days celebrating that the omnibus bill got signed and a ton of money once again went to Ukraine. He doesn’t even have to think about the major problems facing the people of the nation that he “serves.”
And when he gets back, he can look forward to another weekend at his home in Delaware, the one getting a new, expensive fence around it at the taxpayer’s expense.
His house will be secure, but the border won’t.
