Pam Bondi Announces Those Arrested Over The Alleged Attack On Tesla Properties
Federal authorities have filed multiple felony charges against suspects involved in a coordinated series of arson attacks targeting Tesla facilities across the United States. U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced the indictments on Thursday, calling the incidents “acts of domestic terrorism” driven by far-left extremism.
The attacks occurred at different Tesla locations, including in Colorado and South Carolina. In each case, suspects allegedly used incendiary devices to ignite fires, with evidence of political or ideological motivations. All defendants face serious federal charges that carry a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of up to 20 years in prison.

In Loveland, Colorado, 40-year-old Lucy Grace, previously known as Justin Thomas Nelson, was arrested after allegedly attempting multiple arson attacks at a local Tesla dealership. Authorities say the suspect returned to the same site repeatedly from late January through February, ultimately being apprehended on February 24 while in possession of gasoline and improvised firebomb materials. Nelson also allegedly defaced the property with politically charged graffiti. The Department of Justice charged Nelson with malicious destruction of property.
Additional information shared by independent journalist Andy Ngo ties Nelson to alleged online grooming activities, including attempts to influence minors toward gender transitioning while encouraging deception toward parents. While these claims are not currently part of the federal indictment, they are part of the broader profile under review.

In a separate incident in Charleston, South Carolina, 24-year-old Daniel Clarke-Pounder is accused of attacking Tesla charging infrastructure using Molotov cocktails. According to the criminal complaint, Clarke-Pounder spray-painted anti-Trump and pro-Ukraine slogans before launching five incendiary devices that caused extensive damage. He was also taken into custody and charged with federal arson offenses.
Attorney General Bondi emphasized that these acts will be met with full prosecutorial force. “The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi stated. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
