Panicked Dems Wants Rules Changed Of Contested Governor Election After Voting Has Already Begun
Democrats in Virginia are freaking out that they may actually lose the race for governor.
A recent poll has shown that the Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin is now leading Democrat Terry McAuliffe so now Dems want to change the rules.
At the 11th hour as voting has begun Democrats want to change the law regarding absentee ballots.
From the American Spectator:
Virginia’s gubernatorial contest between Republican Glenn Youngkin and Democrat Terry McAuliffe clearly has supporters of the latter worried. Recent polls show a far tighter race than they expected. Consequently, it was all but inevitable that McAuliffe’s allies would attempt to meddle with election laws using public health as a pretext. Sure enough, the Democrat-dominated Fairfax Board of Supervisors has asked Gov. Ralph Northam to waive the witness signature requirement that Virginia law stipulates for all absentee ballots. Board Chairman Jeffrey McKay insists that the waiver is necessary due to the threat of COVID-19, yet cases are declining.
Another poll showing a close contest in the Virginia Governor’s race. A new University of Mary Washington survey shows Terry McAuliffe 43%, Glenn Youngkin 38% but among likely voters, it’s Youngkin 48%, McAuliffe 43%. @nbcwashington

Two things have hurt McAuliffe, Joe Biden and his comments surrounding CRT.
Biden’s incompetence is taking a toll on Democrats as a whole and it’s killing McAuliffe. During a debate against Youngkin he didn’t even bother to defend Biden when the Republican candidate hammered the President over how he handled Afghanistan. During the same debate McAuliffe claimed that parents shouldn’t disagree with teachers over CRT. That got him in a lot of trouble.
Loudoun County, Virginia is the front line of the battle between teachers and parents. Parents living in the affluent DC suburb are fighting CRT being taught in their schools and they are furious with McAuliffe.
“Listen, we have a Board of [Education] working with local school boards to determine the curriculum for our schools. You don’t want parents coming in every different school jurisdiction saying this is what should be taught here, this is what should be taught here,” Mr. McAuliffe told CBS 19 of Charlottesville.
That attitude right there is what is going to sink the Democrat party.
“When the former governor, Terry McAuliffe, says parents have no rights, parents should not be involved with what’s being taught to their children, that’s absurd because parents are the authority that’s over the school board,” Loudoun County, parent Joe Mobley said in an interview.
