Plan B: Desperate Dems Launch “New” Investigation In Quest To Impeach President Trump
Here we go again….
Life after the Mueller Report has been hard for Democrats and because they haven’t been able to dig dirt up on President Trump they are going to Plan B—Insert Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal….again!
On Tuesday the Washington Post reported:
The House Judiciary Committee is preparing to hold hearings and call witnesses involved in hush-money payments to ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal and adult-film star Stormy Daniels as soon as October, according to people familiar with the plans who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal discussions. Democrats say they believe there is already enough evidence to name Trump as a co-conspirator in the episode that resulted in his former attorney, Michael Cohen, pleading guilty to two campaign finance charges. “The fingerprints are all over this one — it’s not like a big mystery,” said Rep. Jamie B. Raskin (D-Md.), a member of the Judiciary panel. “As with the evidence of presidential obstruction of justice, the conclusion seems inescapable: that [Trump] would have been tried had he been anybody else. And now it’s left to Congress again to figure out what to do with the lawbreaking and apparent impunity of the president.”
Democrats say they believe there is already enough evidence to name Trump as a co-conspirator in the episode that resulted in his former attorney, Michael Cohen, pleading guilty to two campaign finance charges.
In a statement to the Washington Post Trump’s attorney, Jay Sekulow said, “No campaign violations were engaged in by the president.”
The Washington Post described the new investigation as “a new chapter” in “consideration” to draft articles of impeachment against the President.
However, with a recent poll showing that 59% of Americans oppose impeachment Democrats are going to have to better than rehash old news.
Now they can trout out their old buddies that were going to take Trump down Michael Cohen and Michael Avenatti. Oh wait that’s right one is in prison and the other one is headed to prison. Oh, I pray to the lord almighty the Democrats ask them to testify, what a circus that will be. Michael Cohen and Avenatti testifying before Congress…the jailbird and the soon to be jailbird.
The truth is the Democrats have nothing and to keep their crazy base happy they are rehashing old news.
It would be nice if they would work with President Trump and help make this country greater than it already is.
