President Trump And Rep. Omar Go Toe to Toe Over 9/11 Video
President Trump and Rep. Illhan Omar got into a dispute on Twitter Wednesday when the President shared a post of her dancing at an event. The original post came from comedian Terrence K. Williams who tweeted, “Omar “partied on the anniversary of 9/11 because she believes ‘Some People Just Did Something’,” referring to the lawmaker’s controversial description of the attacks as she lamented that Muslims in general lost civil liberties because of the attacks carried out by “some people.”
The President shared the tweet and said, “Ihan Omar, a member of AOC Plus 3, will win us the Great State of Minnesota. The new face of the Democrat Party!”

A few hours later Omar attacked the President and said, “This is from a CBC event we hosted this weekend to celebrate black women in Congress. The President of the United States is continuing to spread lies that put my life at risk.
What is Twitter doing to combat this misinformation? “

The event Omar claimed to be attending was an event put together by the Congressional Black Caucus, and it was held from Sept. 11 through the 15. The video of her dancing was posted and surfaced on Friday September 13.
Can someone name something better than @IlhanMN dancing to @lizzo? Because I can’t think of anything. #CBC2019 #CBCWeek #cbcweekend pic.twitter.com/KvsCRvgKQX

(As a side note if you watched the video…she can’t dance…at all.)
One question i have is why in the Congressional Black Caucus having an event starting on 9/11. You want to honor women in Congress that’s fine, start it on the 12th.
