President Trump Just Turned The Most Liberal Court In America On Its Head
It’s was once the crowning jewel of liberal judicial activism and the court whose rulings were most overturned by the Supreme Court. But now, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is changing because President Trump has turned it upside down. The court has taken a right turn and has liberals very concerned because it is threatening their crazy court challenges from abortion to who gets a green card.

The Senate confirmation of Lawrence VanDyke and Patrick Bumatay to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this month brought to nine the number of appointments President Donald Trump has made to the 29-member bench that serves as the last stop for nearly all legal complaints lodged in nine Western states. Democratic-appointed judges now hold a three-seat majority, compared with 11 at the start of Trump’s presidency.
As President Trump continues to nominate strong conservative judges it has created a major shift in the extreme liberal wing in the judiciary. This means progressives will not be able to shop and find a court to push their liberal agenda. The ninth circuit has been the go-to for activist state attorney trying to stop President Trump’s policies ranging from healthcare to immigration.
Early in his first term President Trump called the 9th Circuit “a complete and total disaster” and a “big thorn in our side.”
The 9th Circuit isn’t the only court that has been transformed by President Trump. The 2nd Circuit in New York and the 3rd Circuit in Philadelphia all have Republican-appointed majorities now.
Currently, the 9th Circuit is one of the largest districts in the country and recently some of their rulings have been very favorable to the President.
A 9th Circuit panel of four Democratic appointees and seven Republican appointees ruled in favor of the President to allow the administration to overhaul the Title X federal family planning program. The decision barred clinics who receive federal funds to referring patients for abortions or they would lose their funding, the decision force Planned Parenthood to leave the program.
President Trump and the Senate have done an amazing job and have turned around one of the most liberal courts in the country.
