Biden Officials Reveal How They Plan To Skirt The Constitution To Build Domestic Program To Monitor Conservatives
We all know that the constitution has placed limits on what and how the government can go about things. Agencies like the Department of Homeland Security is limited on how they can monitor Americans without due process.
Authorities can only sift through unprotected information on social media to monitor chatter and if they want to go further they need to obtain a warrant. Sources inside the DHS admit they can decrypt data however, they legally can’t access the data because of the constitution.
Well, the Biden Administration has found a way to bypass all that, they are going to contract private groups to gather large amounts of information that could be useful to DHS and then turn tip them off.
DHS’s plan is to let researchers (better known as Democrat think tanks and watchdog groups) monitor online activity and be used as the middlemen to turn information over to the DHS.
A DHS official did nothing to hid that the purpose of the plan is monitor right-wing online activity, citing the incursion on January 6.
“Domestic violent extremists are really adaptive and innovative. We see them not only moving to encrypted platforms, but obviously couching their language so they don’t trigger any kind of red flag on any platforms,” the official added.
Officials are calling the plan a “legal work-around” to help federal law enforcement collect information on Americans and create “narratives.”
“We are exploring with our lawyers, civil rights, civil liberties and privacy colleagues, how we can make use of outside expertise,” the DHS official added, referring to the department’s efforts related to encrypted applications.
Privacy advocates on both sides of the aisle are already voicing their concern citing that the plan would make civil liberties advocates, and conservative hair “stand on end.”
We already know that the Post Office has started tracking public right social media activity and this is the next evolution in Biden’s plan.
What we are seeing is the same method progressives used to censor conservative voices on the internet. Politicians are bound by the constitution but that didn’t stop progressives from infiltrating tech companies and then using their position to deplatform right leaning voices.
Now, the Biden Administration wants to build a domestic spying program but is limited by the constitution and now they want private companies to do their dirty work.
