Rep. Jamie Raskin and White House Spread Lies About Bribery Investigation – Watch
Not only did the FBI not comply with the request from the House Oversight Committee regarding the investigation surrounding a form that is evidence pertaining to bribery from Biden, but they have also been accused of leaking a false narrative that the case had been closed.
Democrats like Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and the White House quicly spread this rumor but it was confirmed as incorrect by former Attorney General Bill Barr.
Raskin also tried to say that the entire matter was related to the investigation of information that Rudy Giuliani provided to the FBI. He then tried to spin it as having to do with former President Donald Trump,
According to RedState, that it just not the case:
“Not so, according to an individual familiar with the investigation who told The Federalist that the CHS [confidential human source] and the FD-1023 summary of his statement were both “unrelated to Rudy Giuliani” and “not derived” from any information Giuliani provided. This corroborates the House Oversight Committee’s representation that the June 30, 2020, FD-1023 “stands on its own” and was not part of the documents Giuliani provided the FBI in January 2020.
In fact, according to the House Oversight Committee, the FD-1023 in question “contains information from the FBI’s confidential human source dating back to another FD-1023 generated in 2017,” which completely removes Giuliani from the mix.”
The whistleblower’s information didn’t come from Giuliani, and it wasn’t from a random person; it was from the foreign national who claimed to have bribed Biden.
Rep. James Comer had this to say about the Biden FBI document: “They gave us a briefing, they told us things like there was an ongoing investigation and this document had been handed over to the investigator…They said that four times, that it was part of an ongoing investigation.”
Is Raskin just confused or is he lying?
1) Raskin: What I had long suspected: that Chairman Comer’s subpoena is about recycling stale and debunked Burisma conspiracy theories long peddled by Rudy Giuliani and a Russian agent, sanctioned by former President Trump’s own Treasury..
