Rich Elitist NFL Star Fumbles After Post About Gas Prices Blows Up In His Face
Former NFL star Shannon Sharpe who now has a profitable gig at Fox Sports fumbled after he waded into politics.
It all started when Sharpe posted an image of what he paid for gas and wrote, “Anyone knows someone hiring that owns a gas station? You get a discount IF* you work at an establishment. Do ppl still siphon off gas? It was a thing when I was a growing up.”

One user replied back to Sharpe if he still hated Donald Trump and he replied that “I’d rather pay 20 bucks a gallon than have Trump in office. Hope that answers your question.”

It must be nice when you are rich because Americans are barely getting by with prices over $4 a gallon. Just imagine what food prices would be if we were forced to pay $20 a gallon?
His senseless comments unleashed a firestorm.
People who can’t afford to get to work or feed their families beg to differ.

Below was one of my favorite responses…
So, you’re cool with going scorched Earth on middle class working people just because you have a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
You sure you didn’t take a bunch of hits to the head and it literally knocked the sense out of you?

Sharpe’s comments are more than just Trump derangement syndrome, it is elitism.
Just like during the pandemic affluent people who had money/jobs where they could stay home were also the people driving lockdown policies. Meanwhile, the grunts that push America forward suffered and the issues surrounding gas prices are no different. People like Sharpe can afford high energy prices or expensive electric vehicles and their superiority crushes everyday Americans.
