Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Declares ‘Overwhelming’ Evidence for CIA Involvement in JFK Assassination – Watch
Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, has accused the CIA of being involved in the assassination of his uncle. In a recent interview, Kennedy said that he believes there is “overwhelming evidence” that the CIA was behind the killing, and that the government has been covering it up for decades.
Kennedy’s claims have been met with skepticism by some, but they have also renewed interest in the long-running debate over who was responsible for JFK’s assassination. The Warren Commission, which was appointed to investigate the assassination in 1964, concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. However, many people have never been satisfied with this conclusion, and there are a number of conspiracy theories that have emerged over the years.
Kennedy’s claims are based on a number of factors, including the fact that Oswald was a former CIA employee, that the CIA had a motive to kill JFK, and that there is evidence that the CIA was involved in other assassinations around the world at the time. Kennedy also points to the fact that the Warren Commission’s investigation was flawed, and that many key witnesses were never interviewed.
On Sunday, he spoke on radio with host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable” and left no doubts about where he stands:
“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his murder. I think it’s beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.
The evidence is overwhelming that the CIA was involved in the murder—and in the cover-up.”
In another interview RFK said this:
“When my uncle was president, he was surrounded by a military-industrial complex and intelligence apparatus that was constantly trying to get him to go to war and in Laos, Viet Nam, etcetera. He refused.
He said that the job of the American president is to keep the nation out of the war. He refused to send combat troops.”
The CIA has denied Kennedy’s claims, and has said that there is no evidence to support them. However, Kennedy’s claims have resonated with some people, and they have reignited the debate over who was responsible for JFK’s assassination.
.@RobertKennedyJr: CIA 'Definitely Involved' in JFK's Assassination
"They were definitely involved in the murder and the 60-year cover-up," he declared. "They're still not releasing the papers that legally they have to release."
"For anybody who has doubts about that, I would… pic.twitter.com/fY3MeEDfD1
