Romney Goes Even Lower, Joins Dems In Spreading The Latest Lie About President Trump
Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) is pathetic and decided he is joining the Democrats in assaulting President Trump over the coronavirus.
Romney told The Hill, “I’m very disappointed in the degree to which we’ve prepared for a pandemic, both in terms of protective equipment and in terms of medical devices that would help people once they are infected. At this stage, I think we are substantially underinvesting in what would be appropriate for a setting which could be serious.”
Romney, who is a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, said that a further major outbreak in the country could be thwarted but, “we don’t know what the future holds.”
The senator added: “I think we should be pulling out all the stops.”
What Romney failed to mention is that the Trump administration has asked for $2.5 billion in emergency funds to deal with the virus.
On his way back from India the President responded to the democrat’s criticism saying, “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus, including the very early closing of our borders to certain areas of the world. It was opposed by the Dems, “too soon”, but turned out to be the correct decision. No matter how well we do, however, the Democrat’s talking point is that we are doing badly. If the virus disappeared tomorrow, they would say we did a really poor, and even incompetent, job. Not fair, but it is what it is. So far, by the way, we have not had one death. Let’s keep it that way!”

To date, there are 57 coronavirus cases inside the USA, which includes 40 American citizens who contracted the virus while on a cruise ship the, Diamond Princess in Japan.
Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDCs National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases told reporters, “As more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder. The data over the last week and spread in other countries has certainly raised our level of concern, and raised our level of expectation that we are going to have community spread here, so that has changed our tone.”
We must remain vigilant however we can’t let Romney and the Democrats work us into a panic just so they can attack President Trump.
