Say It Ain’s So, Hillary…Not Again in 2024!

Say it ain’t so…Is it possible that Hillary Clinton is thinking about a comeback run for the presidency? Clinton has said in the past that she is not going to run again and she seemed quite certain.

But some of the old friends of Bill and Hillary are dropping some hints that times have changed. She could mount another run in 2024, especially if Biden remains in the deep sea of low approval ratings. 

There have been rumblings from the Democratic National Committee members who want to see Joe gone by the end of the 2022 midterm season. And now even Biden kind of admitted to Scott Pelley on “60 Minutes” that he is somewhat undecided. 

Dick Morris is one of the old cronies who reignited thoughts about Hillary in 2024. But he could just be trying to get in front of the media and secure a contributor’s contract. 

The New York Post ran this information:

“Democrats plan to ‘dump’ President Biden and call on Hillary Clinton to run for a third time in 2024 out of fear that a more radical left-wing candidate could end up on the ticket, veteran political consultant Dick Morris said in a new interview.

The longtime Bill Clinton adviser predicted John Catsimatidis’ WABC radio show ‘Cats Roundtable’ Sunday morning amid renewed speculation that 79-year-old Biden will not seek a second term.

Dems ‘are planning to dump Biden,’ said the self-proclaimed ‘secret adviser’ to former President Donald Trump, adding that Clinton would be the party’s nominee if no other centrist candidate emerged.

‘Once Biden pulls out, the polling will show that the Democrats are leaning toward some crazy radical like Gavin Newson, Bernie Sanders. Maybe even AOC herself,’ Morris opined.”

Clinton surely doesn’t have the political clout that she once had, but there’s enough there to mount a national campaign. She can pull together a network of operatives and strategists and she will be able to fill the war chests.

The big question is does she have hunger. Let’s hope she is happily retired.
