Coup: Schiff And DNI Head Secretly Concealed Evidence In Russian Probe, ‘Under No Circumstances Shall ODNI Share Any…’
Not long after the 2018 mid-erm election after the House was lost to the Democrat, Schiff took over the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), in early 2019 he sent a letter to then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
The letter was obtained by conservative reporter John Solomon’s website “Just The News” and it revealed that Schiff ordered witness transcripts – some that showed President Trump’s team was not guilty of collusion – not be shared with White House staff.
“Under no circumstances shall ODNI, or any other element of the Intelligence Community (IC), share any HPSCI transcripts with the White House, President Trump or any persons associated with the White House or the President,” Schiff wrote in a March 26, 2019 letter to then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
“Such transcripts remain the sole property of HPSCI, and were transmitted to ODNI for the limited purpose of enabling a classification review by IC elements and the Department of Justice,” Schiff added.
US intelligence official claim that it was Schiff’s request that prevented them from declassifying 10 transcripts blocking them from the President.
However, 43 of the transcripts were declassified, cleared for public release, and given to Schiff’s team however, they were never made public despite the committee voting to release them.
If Schiff did receive the transcripts he never told the Republicans on the committee. Republicans on the committee have just learned of this letter and said that they were never altered by the ODNI that the review was completed.
Schiff’s letter to the DNI to keep transcripts from Trump or his lawyer occurred at the same time Special Counsel Robert Mueller announced that there was no evidence of collusion between Russia and the President. If those transcripts were released it would have furthered destroyed the Democrats narrative that the President colluded with Russian.
In the letter Schiff claims he’s interested in releasing the transcripts however, he never did.
“I hope our staff can reach agreement soon on a schedule for returning the transcripts to the Committee for ultimate public release,” he wrote.
We need to win back the House and Rep. Adam Schiff needs to be investigated for ethics violations.
