School District Forcing UnVaxxed Teens To Wear Ankle Monitors
A school district is allowing a high school to force unvaccinated teenagers to wear ankle monitors to make sure they adhere to social distancing guidelines if they wish to play sports.
Reports have emerged that a 15 year old girl was forced to wear an ankle tracking monitor in order to play on the Eatonville High School Volleyball team in Washington state.
According to reports a mother (who has asked to remain anonymous for fear of being canceled) received a text from her daughter that she was being order to wear an ankle monitor to participate in volleyball practice.
The mother decided to drive to the school after her daughter didn’t return her phone call and employees at the school could not answer her questions.
Upon arrival to the school the coach informed the mother that the school held a meeting last week approving the use of a device created by Triax. The device is used to ensure people using the device are maintaining social distancing.
From the Post Millennial:
The TraceTag device used by the school was made by a company called Triax. According to their website, the device was created for the purpose of “maintaining social distancing guidelines” and to provide “real-time insight into whether these guidelines are being observed” for construction and other manufacturing businesses, but makes no mention of school use on the website.
The devices provide “…a visual and audible alarm, so individuals know when to adjust their current distance to a proper social distance.”
The schools athletic director apologized and admitted there was a slip up in communication, students had the option to opt-out of the program.
Officials at the school would only allow the students mother to take a picture of the monitor after it had been removed from the teens ankle. The school board is also considering using the tracking system to quarantine football players.
