School Officials in Maine Help Daughter ‘Transition’ Without Parent’s Knowledge
The left can claim all they want that this is not happening in America today, but it is just not true. A mother in Damariscotta, Maine is demanding that several school officials resign after she discovered that a social worker in the school system had begun helping her teenage daughter “socially transition” to the opposite sex. The mother was not informed of this action.
According to a report in “The Maine Wire,” “In an emotionally charged address to the school board, Amber Lavigne said a Central Lincoln County School System (CLCSS) social worker at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta provided a chest binder to her daughter — a gender transitioning device the employee encouraged the young girl to keep secret from her parents.
This mother said that she had never met the social worker, Samuel Roy, and she had no idea school employees were working in secret to put her daughter on the road to gender transition.
Other officials in the school system also participated in the young girl’s social transition. They were using masculine pronouns to speak to her.
A chest binder is a device used by young girls who want to transition to the opposite sex, they help them socially transition when they girl is experiencing gender dysphoria. These binders are worn to conceal their breasts as they grow.
Those who are proponents of this “treatment” believe it is beneficial for the mental health of young girls who are confused about their gender. They use this device as a beginning to surgical treatments in many cases.
Lavigne knew that her daughter had been seeing a social worker in the school system. But in October, the girl was assigned to a new professional named Roy. She said that “the chest binder was provided less than two weeks after her daughter first met Roy,” according to the report.
The mother grew increasingly angry when she was told that each member of the staff who was involved with her daughter would be keeping their job even though they have concealed their actions in helping the girl transition with the mother’s knowledge.
“Under no circumstances should she have been provided a chest binder without the knowledge of her parents,” Lavigne said during the school board meeting.
“A social worker at the school encouraged a student to keep a secret from her parents,” she continued. “This is the very definition of child predatory sexual grooming. Predators work to gain a victims’ trust by driving a wedge between them and their parents.”
