Schumer Answers Questions About Biden During Interview
Well, well, well—look who’s trying to dance around reality with two left feet. Senator Chuck Schumer sat down for a cozy chat on Meet the Press this Sunday, and let’s just say it wasn’t his finest performance under pressure.
Kristen Welker, bless her heart, gave him an opportunity to explain why Democrats spent years swearing up and down that President Biden’s mental acuity was sharp as a tack while the rest of America was watching… well, something else unfold on their television screens.
When asked directly if Democrats misled the public about Biden’s mental fitness, Schumer gave the classic political non-answer: “No. Look, we didn’t.” Oh, Chuck. That’s adorable. He then went on a greatest-hits tour of the Biden administration’s legislative accomplishments, trying to drown the question in a sea of talking points about judges, infrastructure, and legislative records. All great buzzwords, Chuck, but they don’t answer the question, do they?
NEW: Chuck Schumer gets called out to his face for covering up Biden’s declining mental acuity, deflects and demands that Americans “salute” Biden.
Where was this energy from Kristen Welker *during* the Biden presidency?

The issue isn’t whether Biden signed bills into law or appointed judges. It’s whether the American people were given the full truth about the man sitting behind the Resolute Desk. For years, anyone who dared question Biden’s mental sharpness was branded as peddling “right-wing propaganda.”
Remember that? Every verbal slip, every moment of confusion, every blank stare into the teleprompter was brushed off as an out-of-context clip or a cheap political attack. And now, with Biden stepping aside, Schumer wants Americans to applaud him as a patriot who made a selfless decision for the good of the nation.
But let’s call it what it is: damage control. Biden didn’t step aside because he had a sudden epiphany about “what’s best for America.” He stepped aside because the writing was on the wall in bold, neon letters: the American people were losing confidence, and the Democrats couldn’t spin the story anymore.
And when Welker pressed Schumer on whether Biden would have won had he stayed in the race, Schumer dodged again. “I’m not going to speculate.” Oh, but Chuck, that’s precisely the conversation happening in every Democratic war room and coffee shop from D.C. to San Francisco.
At the end of the day, the truth is simple: the American people weren’t given a straight answer about Biden’s condition. Whether out of party loyalty, fear of political fallout, or a calculated gamble that they could drag him across the finish line one more time, top Democrats stuck to their script and hoped no one would notice the obvious cracks in the façade.
