Self-Absorbed Snowflake: CNN’s Stelter Has A Total Break Down, ‘I Crawled In Bed And Cried For…’
First of all, let’s agree that CNN Brian Stelter isn’t hurting for money, he may not be a multi-millionaire but, the guy isn’t hurting for cash. Stelter is well paid and employed, two things most Americans aren’t right now.
We have always known that Stelter is a liberal snowflake that whines about everything. He complains about Fox News, he whines about Americans that don’t trust CNN, the man whimpers about everything just read his twitter feed, he is the embodiment of a liberal snowflake.
Stelter admitted that he had a total breakdown. Stelter wrote that he has “hit a wall” and has been “gutted by the death toll” of the coronavirus. He’s also “disturbed,” “dismayed” and “worried” about the Trump administration and how the pandemic has been handled. Stelter is also concerned about the rhetoric.
Last night, I hit a wall. Gutted by the death toll. Disturbed by the govt’s shortcomings. Dismayed by political rhetoric that bears no resemblance to reality. Worried about friends who are losing jobs; kids who are missing school; and senior citizens who are living in fear.

I crawled in bed and cried for our pre-pandemic lives. Tears that had been waiting a month to escape.
I wanted to share because it feels freeing to do so. Now is not a time for faux-invincibility. Journos are living this, hating this, like everyone else. https://t.co/dIDujZZvQZ

His other buddies in the corporate media lamented as well…
I finally had a good cry over all of this the other day, and it was cleansing. I think journos compartmentalize to survive reporting on this all the time (it’s so bleak), and it eventually ends up pouring out. Have to feel your feelings. It’s good to share. You’re not alone. https://t.co/K2vszqTSTz

These people in the media are so self-absorbed they are now making the coronavirus about them and Stelter wants journalists to unite!
@brianstelter reflects on emotional weariness in the context of #coronavirus coverage, and concludes with a call for solidarity in journalism – quoting @anitawrites‘ work https://t.co/B96wbShQ0c

So Brian Stelter has “Emotional weariness,” what about the emotional weariness of people who are unemployed, furloughed, losing their businesses, and have lost someone? Now they want you to feel bad for them because reporting the news is hard.
By this point in the pandemic a lot of us know someone who has been sick, passed away, is unemployed, or has lost their business. Many Americans are in the fight of their lives to keep their homes but, Stelter wants you to feel bad for him because reporting the news is hard. If Stelter feels this horrible how about he gets Nancy Pelosi on the damn phone and ask her why Congress isn’t in session, working remotely and why the hell is she holding funding up for small businesses.
