Sen. Marco Rubio Asks Why UFO Info from Whistleblowers Is Being Covered Up – Watch
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said on Monday that multiple whistleblowers from the government have come forward with information about unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
“We have had multiple whistleblowers come forward,” Rubio said in an interview with NewsNation. “They have firsthand knowledge of sightings and encounters with UAPs.”
Multiple government officials have made disclosures to Congress about UFOs beyond the claims brought forward by whistleblower David Grusch.
“Some of these people still work in the government, and frankly a lot of them are very fearful,” Rubio said. “Fearful of their jobs, fearful of their clearances, fearful of their career, and some frankly are fearful of harm coming to them.”
Some of these whistleblowers have “first-hand knowledge or first-hand claims of certain things,” Rubio said. And most of these people have held, either in the past or currently, “high clearances in high positions in our government,” he added.
Rubio said that the whistleblowers have come forward because they are concerned about the government’s lack of transparency about UFOs.
“They are concerned that the government is not taking this seriously enough,” Rubio said. “They are concerned that the government is not being honest with the American people about what is going on.”
Rubio said that he is working with the Senate Intelligence Committee to investigate the UFO sightings.
“We are going to get to the bottom of this,” Rubio said. “We are going to find out what is going on.”
“This is just the latest proof that the government is not being honest with the American people about UFOs,” said one critic. “They are trying to cover something up.”
Another critic said that the government’s lack of transparency about UFOs is a threat to national security.
“If the government is not being honest about UFOs, then how can we be sure that they are not a threat to our national security?” the critic said.
The government’s investigation into UFOs is ongoing. It remains to be seen what the investigation will uncover. However, Rubio’s comments have raised concerns about the government’s handling of UFOs and have fueled speculation about what the government is hiding.
