Sen. Sinema Leaves the Democratic Party and the Left Goes Insane – Watch
People did not see this coming, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona has left the Democratic Party. That is not clickbait, that is pure fact.
Sinema is now a registered Independent. Now certainly there has been some speculation about the Arizona senator given how many times she has disagreed with her party leadership over the filibuster. She has been the focal point of down-right hatred from the liberal Democrats, but leaving the party? That is still a shocker.
This is a statement from Sinema, “In a natural extension of my service since I was first elected to Congress, I have joined the growing numbers of Arizonans who reject party politics by declaring my independence from the broken partisan system in Washington and formally registering as an Arizona Independent.”
She went on to explain her decision in an editorial for “The Arizona Republic,” her state’s largest newspaper. She made it very clear that there was no ambiguity in her decision and that she officially registered as an Independent. She also said that neither partisan owns her senate seat and she will continue to function seeking bi-partisan success.
But she also made it clear that she wasn’t happy with her party’s direction or with the kind of harassment she received for doing what she believes is right.
The comments on a tweet from Sinema are filled with vicious remarks, which is a testimony to her decision.
Some of the spotlight from Sinema has shifted now to Sen. Manchin from West Virginia. He comes from a red state but continues to bow at the feet of President Biden and go against his voters by signing off on bad legislation.
Maybe this courageous move by his colleague will give him what he needs to make the change as well.
It’s a good thing to see a D.C. politician get to the place where they finally say “enough.” Time will tell whether this move makes much of a change, but watching the liberals scramble is sure fun.

You are truly the most vile person. You have betrayed all of those folks in Arizona that gave you power. You should just resign.
