Senate Democrat Admission Spells Very Bad News Pelosi, Schiff, And Nadler
Senate Democrat Chris Murphy (D-CT) just delivered some very bad news over the weekend that is not good for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Adam Schiff, and Rep. Jerry Nadler.
The Democrat from Connecticut said that Democrats are united in voting for additional witnesses to testify however, he did say that not all Democrats will vote to convict the president.
Senator Murphy said:
I don’t have any reason to think there are Democrats that aren’t with us on procedural votes. It’s certainly possible there are Democrats that are going to vote no on one of the articles, two of the articles. And I don’t have a sense where everybody is on the articles. We haven’t talked about it.
“Schumer may know, but nobody has done public or private whipping on this,” he concluded.
The media spent most of last week attacking Republican Senators and trying to pressure them into allowing new witnesses to be called.
Politico suggested that Senator’s Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Krysten Cinema (D-AZ) will probably vote to acquit the President. But, other Democrats may not be willing to go down with the House impeachment ship and other Republican Senators are hinting there are other Democrats out there who may not vote to convict the President.
Rumors have circulated that Senators Gary Peters (D-MI) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) may also vote to clear the President of any wrongdoing.
The media has only focused on pressuring moderate Republicans, however, after Nadler’s and Schiff’s performance last week insulting Senators his antics may be turning off Democrat’s in purple states as well.
Senate Democrats are going to have to think hard because if they continue to lose seats they can kiss what little power they have goodby.
Rep. Schiff also has another problem, his fumble just cost him what little GOP support to allow witnesses he may have had and Soros and Hillary just teamed up to push a new Trump conspiracy aimed to prevent his re-election.
