Someone Has to Stop ‘The View’s’ Joy Behar…Watch Her Baseless Claim About the Mar-a-Lago Raid
When is someone going to put a stop to the insanity that takes place on “The View?” Co-host Joy Behar was at it again on Tuesday, claiming without any evidence that former President Donald Trump wanted to sell the documents taken by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during the raid at Mar-a-Lago.
The panel on the show was talking about the unprecedented raid on Trump’s Florida residence and co-host Sunny Hostin said that it was not a raid.
“I would like to re-frame the conversation, because [Trump] keeps on saying ‘Mar-a-Lago was raided, it was raided, it was raided.’ It wasn’t raided,” Hostin said. “There was a properly executed search warrant … and in order to get one of those search warrants, because I have applied for them and I’ve gotten them, you have to show a judge, a federal judge, that it’s — by probable cause, a crime had been committed … [that] something funky’s going on in there.”
“Let’s stop calling it a raid,” Hostin concluded.
That was all Behar needed, she immediately jumped into the conversation and said that real concern should be over what Trump wanted to do with the documents.
“The main thing about it, I’ve been hearing about this for a month now, you say, well what is his intention? What was he going to do with those documents? Always follow the money with Trump, you know,” Behar said. “Didn’t he just bury his ex-wife on his golf course so he could get a tax break?”
Come on Joy…Did you really make such a baseless claim on network television?
I wish she was along, but she isn’t. This was also a part of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ co-hosts Willie Geist and guest co-host Eddie Glaude’s discussion.
“Why did [Trump] want the documents?” Glaude asked during the segment. “What’s the purpose?
He then suggested Trump might want to “monetize” the documents.
Somebody stop the insanity!
