Biden Humiliated: Major US Company Joe Praised Does A 180 Dumps Mandate
This one hurt.
The White House has once again stepped it and it’s so fun to watch.
Just a few days ago, Biden praised Southwest for combating “misinformation” reassuring the airline would stand with him in defense of his mandate.
Not any more.
Southwest airlines has announced they will not put unvaccinated staff on unpaid leave after their December 8th deadline.
That’s a fancy way the media is saying, Southwest isn’t going to fire unvaccinated workers and will not impose a mandate.
From CNBC:
The company is giving employees until Nov. 24 to finish their vaccinations or apply for an exemption. It will continue paying them while the company reviews their requests, and said it will allow those who are rejected to continue working “as we coordinate with them on meeting the requirements (vaccine or valid accommodation).”
“This is a change from what was previously communicated. Initially, we communicated that these Employees would be put on unpaid leave and that is no longer the case,” they wrote in the note, which was reviewed by CNBC.
Southwest confirmed the policy change, which comes just weeks before the deadline.
Peaceful pushback works every time. It would appear that the sick out and protests at the companies headquarters worked.
United Airlines is the only US carrier that gleefully fired their unvaccinated employees in contrast to American Airlines.
The management at American Airlines “indicated that, unlike the approach taken by United, they were exploring accommodations that would allow employees to continue to work.”
The airline was the first to announce they would not be imposing a mandate on their employees and after the pressure Delta airlines followed suit.
Southwest caving is a huge blow to the Biden Administration who wants to impose a vaccine mandate on Americans working for a company with 100 or more employees.
