US Military Leaders Scramble After Ted Cruz Announcement About Top Brass Political Attacks On Tucker Carlson
Heads at the Pentagon are scrambling because Republican Senator Ted Cruz announced that he’s opening an investigation into top military brass publicly attacking Joe Biden’s political opponents.
Last week, Fox News Host Tucker Carlson (a private citizen and member of the press) blasted the Department of Defense for show casing a flight suit for visibly pregnant women. Generally flight suits are worn by pilots and flight crew so it was curious that the military would issue pregnant women flight suits.
It is normal for woman who are pregnant and on combat deployment to be evacuated back to the states and that’s fine, pregnancy is a sensitive time and the DOD (under even the great Barack Obama) didn’t want pregnant women in a war zone.
The fact that it is now controversial to not want a pregnant woman in a war zone is mind blowing.

Press Spokesman John Kirby could have easily brushed aside Tucker Carlson and said that the flight suits are for pregnant pilots/air crew to wear for their day-today garrison duties so they can stay in uniform (everyone wearing the same thing) with their unit. He could have also added that the United States military does not send pregnant woman to war but that’s not what happened.
Top members of the US military engaged in political attacks against Tucker Carlson who is a member of the press and a private citizen.
The onslaught started with US Space Command’s Senior Enlisted Leader, Marine Corps Mastery Gunnery Sgt. Scott Stalker who used a weak strawman argument to claim that women are valued members of the military; which is something Carlson said.

The Official US Marine Corps II MEF Information Group also attacked Carlson posting an image of a female Marine carrying another soldier and told critics to “come back when you’ve served and been pregnant.”
However, not long after those posts from official military social media pages Senator Ted Cruz sent a letter to the Pentagon and announced that he will be conducting a full investigation.
Under Biden, the military is launching political attacks to intimidate Tucker Carlson & other civilians who criticize their policy decisions.
Officials in uniform are being used for the campaign.
I’ve demanded a meeting with the Commandant of the USMC to put a stop to it. pic.twitter.com/Ihl8xRJr0S

In response to the investigation the II MEF Information Group immediately deleted their posts. But luckily, OANN reporter, Jack Posobiec and others took images of them before they were deleted.
Hi @CMC_MarineCorps! Are these official statements from the @iimigofficial about how the Marines view US civilians? pic.twitter.com/FeMU613cn9

Public Affairs Advisor to the Sergeant Major of the Army locked his Twitter acocunt down after he scolded the Air Force and Navy for not joining their “full frontal assaults” on a private citizen.
I wonder why @WillReinier, Public Affairs Advisor to @16thSMA (the Sergeant Major of the Army) locked his Twitter account. What a bunch of amateurs. pic.twitter.com/Nnmke6iHgp

With US Marines tweeting partisan views on Govt accounts — and keeping their jobs all the while — we’ve crossed a red line.
The Republic will not stand long when our military, intelligence, & law enforcement become political tools.
We are in desperate trouble.

Other member of congress are also starting to join Ted Cruz citing that the military must remain from political discussions.
I don’t care what anyone says about our military, pro or con, especially what one news commentator says.
But, I care deeply about politicizing our military. It’s dangerous and a violation of oath.
