‘The View’ Host Sunny Hostin Raises Concerns About Voting in Place of Her Son – Watch
If only we could vote out the hosts of “The View.” They just keep saying the most absurd and inaccurate things on their show.
Sunny Hostin is getting right up there with both Joy and Whoopi for some real wing-dingers. Last week she lashed out at all-white suburban women after reading a poll that indicated there was a massive shift taking place toward the GOP in the midterms.
She said, “I read a poll just yesterday that white Republican suburban women are now going to vote Republican. It’s almost like roaches voting for Raid.”
They no doubt lost viewers that day, and others just couldn’t stop talking about how clueless Hostin has become. People are leaving the Democratic Party because their policies have failed them and done real harm to people’s lives. And the Democrats just are not focused on the issues that matter to people, to families.
But Hostin can’t see it and has to demonize the whole party.
On Tuesday, election day, Hostin created another stir when she talked about “voting for” her son.
“I had trouble actually voting FOR HIM, absentee ballot today.”
The host admitted that she voted absentee in place of her son and then whined that she had trouble doing it.
“And that made me very concerned.” She warned that they were putting the ballots in an orange bag instead of an official box.
“It’s my son. Who by the way, wanted to make sure that his absentee ballot was a — that I did that. I had trouble actually voting for him, absentee ballot today, and that made me very concerned,” Hostin said. “I was told to put it in an orange bag on the floor. And the orange bag looked to me like a Target bag or something. And I said, ‘Isn’t there a formal election box that says ‘Absentee ballots’ or something like that?’ And then she said, ‘Let me check’ and then found it. So that concerned me.”
Does that language concern anyone else? She voted “for” her son???
