Total Chaos, KJB Threatens To Shut Down Press Con – WATCH
The White House press conference was one for the books this morning as Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to address the country. However, KJP was hardly able to mutter a word without being interrupted by a reporter, Simon Ateba. To make matters worse, the press secretary was joined by celebrity guests from the hit series, “Ted Lasso.” They were there prior to a meeting with the President and First Lady to discuss and bring awareness to mental health.
The White House press briefing opens in total chaos as Simon Ateba berates Karine Jean-Pierre for not calling on him in months.

Simon Ateba is Chief White House Correspondent for Today News Africa covering President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. government, UN, IMF, World Bank and other financial and international institutions in Washington and New York. In today’s press conference, however, it was his personal mission to make it known that he feels rejected by KJP declaring that she does not like him and never calls on him for questions.

As chaos ensued, other reporters started complaining begging Ateba to, “mind his manners,” “hold his grievances for later” and allow them to “do their job.” Ateba continued interrupting Karine Jean-Pierre making claims that he had previously reached out via email with his grievances and stating that no one knows what it’s like to sit in that room for eight months and be overlooked again and again, shouting “This is not China, this is not Russia!”

Ateba went further into his complaints suggesting that he was not being called on for questions because he was not in the front row.

After what was far too long a disruption from Ateba, KJP calls his actions, “unacceptable” and threatens to shut down the press conference if he continued to disrespect his colleagues and the guests who were there to talk about important matters like mental health.

Although the briefing continued with a less hostile vibe, it didn’t end much better than it started. When asked about the President’s intent to sign legislation passed by Congress to declassify intel related to Covid’s origin, KJP was still unable to give a clear answer.

And when asked if the Biden Administration is “worried about the politics” when it comes to the banks, bailouts and average Americans not getting them, Karine rambled on and on with no clear takeaway.

Even though it’s slightly comical to watch, we’re left with yet another press conference that didn’t provide the answers we’d like.
