Treasury Secretary Yellen Knows Why Inflation Is So Bad…Look Out! Watch
Janey Yellen, Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary, just declared the real cause of inflation. It’s not because of her boss’s insane policies, and it has nothing to do with the intense response made during the pandemic.
Yellen cleared it all up while making an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s left-wing comedy show Wednesday night. She was there to discuss her work in improving her penmanship, but she also let us all know the culprit behind the staggering inflation.
Here it is…Americans were “splurging” on goods and technology during the pandemic.
Oh, I see…inflation is our fault.
Don’t get lost in all the talk about the Inflation Reduction Act her team poured down the throat of the American public. Don’t think that it was the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. Nope…it is all those late-night Walmart shoppers who wanted a smoker. All these people were in their homes for a year or more and wanted things like grills and office furniture to work from home in.
Buyers from their laptops just went crazy buying unneeded goods and technology. It’s all so simple.
This caused major bottlenecks and supply issues and the economy just couldn’t keep up with the demands.
It couldn’t be that the Biden Administration printed trillions of dollars. Yellen just repeated the same talking points that she heard from her boss, claiming that inflation was our fault and Russia’s fault for their nasty war against Ukraine.
Yellen and Biden are blaming everyone else but the people they see in the mirror for the inflation rate that reached a 40-year high on their watch.
So if you bought a grill during the pandemic because you could only meet with your family and friends outside, this is all your fault. How dare you.
Thank you Secretary Yellen for clearing this mystery up for the American people.
Don't blame the Biden Admin printing trillions of dollars: @SecYellen tells @StephenAtHome the real reason inflation is out of control is because Americans are "splurging" on goods; "and, remember, Russia has conducted a brutal war against Ukraine" pic.twitter.com/d0xbhA7sbH
