Trump #1 On The Music Charts, Stuns Libs
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has made news in an unexpected arena: music. His song “Justice for All” with the J6 Prison Choir has topped Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, beating out Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers”, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night”, and Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick. The song sold 33,000 downloads March 10–16, reaching the top of the chart with 39 percent of those sales occurring March 11, when its official video premiered on the online platform Rumble.
The recording, which features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance mixed with the J6 Prison Choir singing “The Star–Spangled Banner”, was created with a group of about 20 inmates in the Washington, D.C. jail who recorded their parts over the phone. Trump’s portion of the track was recorded from his home at Mar–a–Lago, and the final product was reportedly produced by a major recording artist who was not identified.
Profits from the song will go toward helping the families of those imprisoned for alleged actions on January 6, 2021. Country artist John Rich congratulated Trump on Truth Social, saying “THE PEOPLE have spoken! Congrats @realDonaldTrump on your first #1 Billboard Song!”
The song is a unique way to show support for those affected by the events of January 6, while also giving Trump a platform to express his views. It will be interesting to see how Trump’s music career evolves in the future, and if his songs will continue to make waves on the charts. I’m sure we’re all surprised at Trump’s latest rise to fame amid his debacle with Manhattan DA, Bragg. He’s always got some sort of new trick up his sleeve so wit will be fun to see the next bunny he pulls from his hat!
