Trump and Pence Are Teaming Up Again To Take On The Democrats
Former President Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence are once again teaming up.
With the backing of former President Trump, Pence is launching the Advancing American Freedom advocacy group that is designed to taking over the traditional conservative platforms and covert them to Trump populist principles. In other words, Trump and Pence are planning on getting rid of the rhinos and plan on taking over the party; which is long overdue.
Advancing American Freedom group will focus on those winning policies that were at the center of that fusion between traditional conservatism and Trumpism,” a Pence aide said.
“Advancing American Freedom plans to build on the success of the last four years by promoting traditional conservative values and promoting the successful policies of the Trump administration,” Pence said. “Conservatives will not stand idly by as the radical left and the new administration attempt to threaten America’s standing as the greatest nation in the world with their destructive policies,” added Pence.
The goal of the group is to defend the Trump-Pence administration’s record and build a “winning formula for a broader coalition.”
“It was the most successful first term in American history,” Trump said in a statement. “Nice to see Mike highlighting some of our many achievements!”
Pence was looking to sit back and take a position at the Heritage Foundation however, the crisis at the border and Biden’s commitment to raise taxes has brought the former Vice President back into the public domain.
Other members of the board are former members of Trump’s inner circle, Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought, former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and former Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. Chip Saltsman, Marc Short, and Marty Obst will be co-chairs.
“Now, we are in a period where the Biden administration in two and half months have really just abandoned the policies that led to so much prosperity in the past four years, and it’s time for him to reemerge and be the voice to take on those policies,” a Pence aide said.
