Trump Campaign Announcement Strikes At The Heart of The Democrats “Squad”
Oh, this is going to be good…
President Trump isn’t cowering from the Democrats, he is bulldozing right into them.
On Thursday the Trump campaign announced that President Trump will speak at a Keep America Great rally at the 20,000 seat Target Center in Minneapolis on October 10th. The Target Center just happens to be in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District who just happens to be represented by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D).
The Target Center’s website claims that the biggest audience they ever had was a U2 concert totaling 20,200 fans. I bet President Trump will break the record, if the fire marshall lets him.
In a press release the Presidents campaign said:
Today, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that President Trump will host a Keep America Great rally on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 pm CDT at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN.
“Minnesota is booming thanks to President Trump and jobs are coming back to the state. Since President Trump’s election, Minnesota has added 54,500 new jobs including 3,000 new manufacturing jobs, while President Obama lost 5,200 manufacturing jobs,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “President Trump has delivered on his promises, and he looks forward to celebrating those successes with the great men and women of Minnesota.”

Almost immediately the Democrat mayor of Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey released a statement:
“Under ordinary circumstances, it would be an honor to welcome a sitting President of the United States to Minneapolis and to showcase all our city has to offer on the national stage. But these aren’t ordinary circumstances. Since taking office President Trump’s actions have been reprehensible and his rhetoric has made it clear that he does not value the perspectives or rights of Minneapolis’ diverse communities.
“On October 10, our entire city will stand not behind the President, but behind the communities and people who continue to make our city – and this country – great. While there is no legal mechanism to prevent the president from visiting, his message of hatred will never be welcome in Minneapolis.”

Omar posted a statement denouncing the visit.
Our beautiful state welcomes everyone with open arms.
But to be clear: we will continue to reject you and your campaign of lies and bigotry. https://t.co/aQnZxcW42V

How awesome would it be if all the Trump supporters at the rally in Minnesota would chant “Send Her Back” (referring to Omar) in her own district. It would be music to my ears.
