Trump Chooses Waco for Rally, Dems Fired Up
On Saturday, former President Donald Trump held a rally in Waco, Texas, the site of a tragic massacre 30 years ago. Leftists, however, are not happy about it.
Ed Krassenstein, a leftist social media influencer, claimed that the former president chose this location “because he wants his own cult members to turn against the American government.” Former federal prosecutor Shanlon Wu called the decision “despicable” and claimed that “Waco is arguably one of the cradles of the violent, American far–right.” The Lincoln Project also chimed in, tweeting, “Does that sound like law & order to you?”
Days before likely getting indicted, Trump will hold a rally on the 30th Anniversary of the Waco, Texas siege.
While the siege 30 years ago had to do with a religious cult, there is no doubt that Trump chose this location because he wants his own cult members to turn against… pic.twitter.com/lEq9lJvc14

The Waco siege took place in 1993 when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) attempted to execute a search warrant on the Branch Davidian compound. The raid resulted in a shootout between the ATF agents and the Branch Davidians, leaving four ATF agents and six Branch Davidians dead. After the failed raid, the FBI took over the operation and initiated a siege on the compound. Negotiations between the FBI and Koresh continued for 51 days, but they were ultimately unsuccessful. On April 19, 1993, the FBI launched a tear gas attack on the compound, which led to a fire that engulfed the entire building. The fire resulted in the deaths of 76 Branch Davidians, including Koresh.
Democrats are trying to paint Trump‘s rally as an “incitement“ of anti–government sentiment, but this is simply not the case. In fact, Trump‘s decision to hold his rally in Waco serves as a reminder of the power of the federal government and its willingness to use it against American citizens.
By holding his rally in Waco, Trump is sending a message that he is committed to reigning in the federal government and its agencies.
After watching Biden gather a whopping 23 people at each 2020 rally, the media is trying to convince you that Trump’s Waco rally was a disappointing turnout. pic.twitter.com/Z5gFBwvTlG
