Trump Comments On Pay To Play Allegations
Oh, folks, grab your popcorn because this one’s wild. Donald Trump — never one to mince words — just took a flamethrower to Kamala Harris, Beyoncé, and Oprah all in one post, and he’s not exactly whispering his accusations.
Over the weekend, Trump went on Truth Social and dropped what he clearly intended to be a bombshell: Kamala Harris, in her failed bid for the presidency in 2024, allegedly shelled out millions for celebrity endorsements.
Not “thanks for showing up” money, not “cover your costs” money — we’re talking $11 million to Beyoncé for an endorsement, $3 million to Oprah for “expenses,” and another $600,000 to Al Sharpton. His words, not mine.
And Trump? He’s calling it illegal. In fact, he’s flat-out demanding that everyone involved — Harris, the celebrities, the whole crew — be investigated and prosecuted. “YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT,” he declared in all caps, saying these payments were “incorrectly stated in the books and records” and amounted to a serious violation.
Then, in classic Trump fashion, he added his own flair, taking a jab at Beyoncé — claiming she “never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience” — and labeling Al Sharpton as a “total lightweight.” You can practically hear him at a rally saying it, right?

Now, before you think this is just Trump lobbing grenades for fun, let’s hit the brakes. Reports do show that some of these celebrities — Beyoncé, Oprah, and others — did receive payments through their production companies. But here’s the kicker: they say those payments weren’t for endorsements.
Oprah herself shot back back in May, saying she “did not take any personal fee” and that the money went toward paying the people who worked on her production. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, chimed in too, flatly calling the claim that her daughter was paid for an endorsement a “lie.”
So where does that leave us? On one side, Trump is shouting “illegal endorsements!” and demanding prosecutions. On the other, the stars are saying, “Nope, just covering costs.” And somewhere in the middle is Kamala Harris, whose presidential run fizzled out despite this star-studded backing — paid or otherwise.
